Kionic
Business intelligence you can talk to.
Dashboards with the discipline of classic BI and the flexibility of AI. Built by prompts, refined by conversation, running on your data.
The problem
Chat is flexible. Dashboards are clear. Until now, you had to choose.
AI chat gives you infinite flexibility and infinite scroll: dozens of versions of the same analysis buried in one endless thread. Classic BI gives you a clean overview that only a specialist can modify. Kionic exists because neither is acceptable.
What Kionic is
AI-infused business intelligence.
Kionic is a framework for building BI applications where every element responds to natural language. It keeps what works about dashboards: information in single view, structured, navigable, instantly readable. It adds what was missing: the ability to change anything, form, layout, or the query itself, by simply asking.
Many applications use AI to explain charts in a long form text, depriving users from the easy overview that visuals provide. We think the point of business intelligence is compression, not narration. Kionic uses AI to make the compressed view flexible, while the application stays familiar. This is AI in the BI, not next to it.
How it works
Built by prompts, not projects.
Expert users define the base dashboards through prompting, not development sprints. No engineering ticket, no BI backlog. If you can describe what you want to see, you can build it.
Refined by conversation.
Every user can adjust their own view: recolor a chart, rearrange tiles, or change the question behind the data ("show me weekends only"). Modifications stay private or go public, and a full version history means any state can be restored. The days of emailing the dashboard guy are over.
Model-agnostic by design.
Kionic connects to any LLM. Frontier models for complex queries, lightweight models for simple tasks, selected automatically to keep token costs down. Cloud providers, aggregators, or fully local models on your own hardware: your choice.
Your data stays yours
Kionic deploys behind your firewall as a container on your infrastructure. Your data is persisted in your database, connected to your sources, under your security policies. We build the system; you keep total control.
